Puma Transmission Issues

I'm having trouble with my 2022 Ford Puma Hybrid. The transmission indicator and check engine light are on, and it's in emergency mode. The automatic transmission isn't shifting right, feels like it's slipping, and I hear grinding noises. A scan showed an error that might be a defective cable or plug connection. Could this be related to radiator oil pressure or a coolant leak? Coolant level is fine. Any ideas on how to diagnose this further? It has 175752 km on the clock. Has anyone else seen this?

I had a similar issue on my Puma. The transmission was acting up with similar symptoms. Check the wiring harness and connectors going to the transmission. A loose or corroded connection can cause weirdness.

Thanks! Could you be more specific about which wiring harness and connectors to inspect? Was your error code the same, pointing to a sensor malfunction or pressure issue?

I don't recall the exact error code, but it was definitely transmission related. Check all the connectors near the radiator and leading to the transmission control module. Honestly, with those symptoms, I'd recommend taking it to a workshop. It could be a relatively simple fix, but it's better to be safe.

I took my Puma to a workshop, and the cable connection to the radiator oil pressure sensor was defective, like the error code suggested. They replaced the connector, and it's running smoothly again. The repair was 95€.
