Puma Transmission Oil Pressure Sensor Fault

My 2021 Ford Puma diesel is showing a transmission oil pressure sensor fault. Mileage is at 209813 km. Engine warning light is on, gearbox is in emergency mode, and it's shifting terribly! Is this a common Puma issue?

Sounds familiar! I've got a Puma too, and had similar symptoms. Did you check the gearbox oil level? That was my issue...

Interesting. Low gearbox oil? That simple? I assumed the sensor was faulty! Where is the dipstick located? Did it solve all the problems?

Well, it might not be that simple for you, but that was my fix! My Puma was slipping gears badly before topping it up. But seriously, I am no expert... probably best to visit a workshop!

Okay, thanks for the heads up! Turns out the gearbox oil level was indeed low. Topped it up and the problem is resolved. The bill was 365€! I appreciate the suggestion!
