Qashqai hybrid rough running
Summary of the thread
A 2023 Nissan Qashqai hybrid was experiencing rough running, stalling, and jerking during acceleration, with the check engine light on. The suspected cause was a fuel system issue. It was suggested that the problem might be related to the fuel pressure sensor or a faulty connection. After taking the car to a workshop, the issue was confirmed to be a faulty fuel pressure sensor and a poor connection, which were repaired, resolving the problem.

No unusual noises that I can hear, and the fuel consumption seems normal. Is it likely to be the fuel pump itself or could it be something else, like a sensor issue?

While a faulty fuel pump could cause those issues, it's more likely to be a fuel pressure sensor problem, especially with no strange fuel pump noises. A defective cable or plug connection to the sensor could also be the culprit. To be sure, it is best to get it checked out in a workshop.

Thanks for the advice! Took it to a shop, and you were spot on. It was the fuel pressure sensor and a dodgy connection. Replaced the sensor and fixed the wiring, cost me 95€. Runs like new now.

Sounds like a potential fuel delivery issue. The symptoms you describe, like engine stalling and rough idle, definitely point in that direction. The jerking under acceleration could also be related. Have you noticed any changes in fuel consumption or any unusual noises coming from the fuel pump area?
