Hey, I've got a 2021 Nissan Qashqai with a gasoline engine and the seat heater isn't working – doesn't get warm at all. I scanned for errors and there's a code stored related to the seat heating. Has anyone run into this before? I'm suspecting a defective heating mat in the seat cushion, but wanted to see if others had similar experiences before I tear into it.

I had a similar issue with my Qashqai, although I never scanned for error codes. The seat just wouldn't heat up at all. Did you check the fuse? It could be something simple like that. Although if you're getting an error code, it's probably something more involved. Same seat every time, or both?

Good question about the fuse, hadn't thought of that! I'll check it out, but yeah, the error code makes me think it's beyond just a fuse. And yes, it's just the driver's seat. Passenger seat works perfectly. Could a faulty seat cushion cause an error code? Just trying to narrow it down before I start ripping things apart.
