Qashqai sunroof initialization error

That sounds familiar! I had a similar issue in my Qashqai. The sunblind acted like it was possessed, just stopping mid-way. Was the coding related to any specific module, like the body control module or anything that might interface with the sunroof mechanism?

The coding was for some ambient lighting tweaks and a bit of ECU remapping for efficiency, but nothing directly sunroof-related. Do you remember how yours was eventually resolved? The entire thing drives me nuts!

I had the exact same symptoms: stuck sunblind, refused to move. After hours of head-scratching, I just took it to a workshop. Turned out, it messed up the sunroof calibration, a quick re-initialization sorted it out. I'd say take it to a workshop instead of spending days ripping your hair out!
