R Klasse power steering problem

Sounds familiar I had a similar issue with my R Klasse Check the cable and plug connections to the power steering pump A defective connection can cause those symptoms Also, inspect the pressure hose for any leaks or damage Have you checked the steering rack itself

Cable and plug connections, huh Where exactly are those located And how would I check the steering rack for damage I'm not really a mechanic

The connections are near the power steering pump, you should be able to see them if you follow the lines Visually inspect the steering rack for any signs of leaks or damage, but honestly, if you're not comfortable, it's best to take it to a workshop A faulty connection was the cause of the issue with my car I paid around 95€ for the repair back then Better safe than sorry when it comes to steering

Thanks for the advice I took it to a workshop, and you were right, it was a defective plug connection They fixed it for 95€ and now the steering wheel doesn't shake anymore The steering is responsive again I really appreciate your help
