Thanks! The smoke appears to be more on the black side. Does that definitively point to the pressure sensor, or could it be something else entirely? What were your experiences?

Black smoke usually indicates an incomplete combustion, which could very well be related to the exhaust back pressure sensor providing incorrect readings. My issue turned out to be a defective sensor. It's best to have it checked by a workshop. Is it worth risking further damage by continuing to drive the car?

I appreciate you sharing your insights! I took it to a local workshop, and indeed, the exhaust back pressure sensor was faulty. The repair cost me 245€, and now everything is running smoothly. Your replies helped me a lot!

I also own a Ractis, and your symptoms sound familiar. A malfunctioning exhaust back pressure sensor can definitely cause those issues. Is the smoke black or white? That might give a clue.
