A fuse for the grille? I didn't even know that was a thing! I'll check that out. It takes a long time to reach operating temperature but it does not overheat when idling or driving. Where would I find this fuse?

Yeah, some models have it. If it's not the fuse, it might be a bigger issue. Given the symptoms, you should get it checked by a workshop. They can properly diagnose the cooling system and sort out any blockages or thermostat problems.

Turns out it was the fuse! The workshop replaced the cooling grille fuse for 52€, and everything's back to normal. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

I had something similar happen with my Ractis. Check if your car has a fuse for the cooling grille; sometimes a defective fuse can cause those symptoms. Does the car overheat when idling or only when driving?
