Thanks for sharing your experience! That sounds exactly like what I'm dealing with right now. By the way, do you remember roughly how much you ended up paying for the repair? Also, has everything been working smoothly since they fixed it, or have you noticed any other quirks with the system? I'm particularly worried about other electrical issues popping up, these modern cars are just full of electronics, aren't they?

Hey again! Yeah, I totally get your concern about costs, I ended up paying 725.00 € for the repair, which included fixing the damaged display and resolving that pesky audio signal error. I have to say, everything's been working like a charm since then! The infotainment system is back to its old self, crystal clear display and all. You're spot on about modern cars being packed with electronics, it's like driving a computer on wheels sometimes! But honestly, since getting it properly fixed by the specialist, I haven't had a single problem with any of the systems. The audio is perfect now, no more signal errors, and the navigation runs smoother than ever. My advice? Don't try to save money by going to a non-specialist garage. These Range Rovers need someone who really knows their stuff. Sure, it might cost a bit more upfront, but it's worth it to avoid any recurring issues. Trust me, I learned that lesson the hard way with a previous car! Let me know how it goes when you get yours checked out. Always happy to share more details about my experience if you need them!

Thanks so much for all the advice! I actually bit the bullet and took it to a certified specialist yesterday. You were absolutely right, it was a faulty control module! Cost me about the same as yours, but honestly, I'm just relieved it's fixed now. The mechanic was super professional and walked me through everything they were doing. Even showed me the old module and explained why it failed. They had it ready in just over a day, and wow, what a difference! The sound system is crisp again, and the nav screen is working perfectly. Funny enough, they also caught and fixed a minor battery sensor issue that I didn't even know about. Guess that's the benefit of going to someone who really knows these cars! The whole experience wasn't nearly as stressful as I'd feared. Really appreciate everyone's help here, saved me from potentially making things worse by going to another unusual mechanic! Now I can finally enjoy my podcasts on my daily drives again!

Hey there! I actually had a similar issue with my 2020 Range Rover Sport PHEV last month. The entire infotainment system went dark, and both screens stopped responding completely. Took it to the garage, and it turned out to be a failed main control module that handles both the nav and audio systems. They had to replace the unit and reprogram it. It was definitely a serious electrical issue, not something you'd want to ignore or try fixing yourself. In my case, the technician explained that these systems are highly integrated, and when one component fails, it can affect multiple functions simultaneously. The repair took about two days, mainly because they needed to ensure all systems were properly synchronized after the replacement. If you're seeing the same symptoms, I'd suggest getting it checked out by a certified Range Rover specialist. These aren't issues that typically resolve themselves.
