Yeah, power is down, and the exhaust smells pretty strong. What was the problem with yours?

Ah, your additional observations lend further credence to my suspicions. The reduced power and pungent exhaust odor align disconcertingly with the issues I faced. It does sound like a defective intake manifold. In my case, it was a leak due to scorching, which caused all sorts of problems with the air intake and engine performance. Given the complexities involved and the error codes your vehicle is exhibiting, I would strongly advise consulting with a qualified workshop for a comprehensive diagnosis. I ended up paying 1180€ for the repair.

Greetings! I must confess, your predicament sounds eerily reminiscent of a trying ordeal I endured with my own RAV4. The symptoms you've described – the disconcerting jerking, the unwelcome illumination of the check engine light, the error codes lurking within the error memory – all resonate with a frustrating chapter in my automotive history. Might I inquire, have you observed any diminution in your engine's power, or perhaps detected an unusually strong odor emanating from the exhaust system? Such nuances may prove invaluable in our diagnostic endeavors. The intake manifold pressure is important in that specific case.
