RCZ Damping System Error

I'm having issues with my 2015 Peugeot RCZ (gasoline engine). I'm getting an error stored in the memory and a warning light, and the ride is incredibly bumpy. It feels like the damping adjustment is totally off. I've got 92055 km on the clock. Anyone experienced something similar? I'm suspecting a faulty cable or plug connection.

I had almost the exact same thing happen on my RCZ. Bumpy ride that felt like I was driving a tractor! That error light is a pain. Did you check the usual suspects like fuses? Could be something simple before you dive too deep.

Cheers for the quick reply! Fuses are all good, I checked those first. When you had the issue, did the error code point to a specific shock absorber or damping control unit? Or was it more generic?

Nah, the error code was super vague, just something about 'damping system malfunction'. It could have been anything, to be honest. I ended up taking it to a workshop – they diagnosed it pretty quickly. Much easier than me crawling around trying to find a dodgy wire! I would say go get it checked professionally. It won't cost a fortune.
