RCZ Electrical Problems

I'm having electrical problems with my 2014 Peugeot RCZ diesel. The diagnostics system reports an error, there's a general electrical malfunction, and the navigation system is inoperable. It seems like the control unit programming is implausible. Has anyone else experienced this and what fixed it?

Sounds like a head-scratcher. I had something similar happen with my RCZ a while back; the nav system died, and weird errors popped up. Have you checked the battery voltage? A low battery can cause electrical gremlins. Did this start after a service or any work being done?

The battery voltage seems normal. These issues didn't follow any maintenance. What errors did you encounter? Any details regarding the symptoms or diagnostic codes would be appreciated.

I remember now, the main error was a communication error with the ECU. I messed around trying to fix it myself, reading forums etc, but I took it to a workshop in the end. They re-flashed the ECU with the latest software, and that sorted it. Cost me around 240€, but it was worth it to get rid of the hassle. Save yourself the headache and get it checked out professionally!
