RCZ Headlight Washer Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2010 RCZ diesel owner reported a failure in both the headlight and windshield washer systems, with fuses intact. Possible causes discussed included clogs, defective pump cable connections, or a faulty relay. Another owner shared a similar experience, suggesting checking hoses and nozzles, but ultimately found a faulty relay to be the issue. The original problem was resolved by replacing the relay and fixing the pump cable connection, aligning with the shared experience.

Good call on the hoses! I'll check, but it seems odd that both would fail at once from a blockage. Was it all-or-nothing for you, or did one fail before the other? Trying to see if it's a shared component.

Yeah, it was all-or-nothing for me. One day working, the next… nothing! I fiddled for ages before taking it to a workshop. It was a dodgy relay. Cost about 165€ to fix. Sometimes it's not worth DIY!

Looks like I'll book it in. Thanks for sharing; it's a relief I'm not completely wrong. The relay was faulty and the pump cable connection was defective. Cost exactly what you paid!

I had something similar on my RCZ. One day, neither the windscreen nor the headlight washers would squirt! Did you check the hoses for kinks? Maybe poke the nozzles with a needle to see if they're blocked?
