Renault Master Airbag Warning Light

Hi, I have a 2016 Renault Master diesel. The airbag warning lamp in the speedometer is constantly on. I read it could be a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone experienced this?

Could be a crash sensor issue, or even a faulty connection within the restraint system itself. Does the SRS light stay illuminated constantly, or does it blink at all? Also, has there been an airbag recall for your model and year? That's worth checking.

The SRS light stays on constantly. Where exactly are the crash sensors located? And how can I check for recalls?

Okay, a constantly lit SRS light unfortunately points to a more persistent fault. Crash sensors vary a bit by model, but often they are behind the front bumper or inside the door. You can usually check for Renault recalls on their official website, just input your VIN. Honestly, with airbag systems, fiddling without proper tools can be risky. Maybe a workshop visit is in order?

Thanks, I'll check for recalls online. But probably better to go to a garage, you're right. I had the cable/plug connection of the component repaired. The final bill was 95€. Thanks for your help!
