Renault Master Temperature Problem

I'm having trouble with my 2005 Renault Master diesel. It has 184166 km on the clock. The temperature readings on the instrument cluster are off, the check engine light is on, and it takes a long time for the engine to warm up. Could a blocked cooling grille be the problem?

Renault Master, eh? Sounds familiar. I had something similar, though I didn't pay too much attention to the dash lights at first. Was your engine running hotter than usual, or did it just take ages to warm up? I eventually found a fuse gone in mine and I'm wondering if that could have been the cause.

When you say a fuse, could you clarify which one? I've checked the main fuses for the cooling system, but maybe I missed one. It would help to know where to look before I get it inspected.

Honestly, I couldn't tell you which fuse it was specifically; I'm no expert. I just took it to a workshop. They found the faulty fuse, swapped it, and said that the cooling grille being blocked probably caused it to blow. It wasn't too expensive.

I appreciate your input. I'll book an appointment with a technician to check the cooling system and the fuses. It's good to know it might be a simple fix, potentially saving me money. The repair cost was only 52€.
