Renault Scenic Readiness Check Error
Summary of the thread
A 2001 Renault Scenic owner experienced an incomplete system readiness check error after an OBD2 diagnostics readout, with a message displayed on the speedometer. The issue was suspected to be related to recent minor exhaust work. A similar case was resolved by having a workshop reset the readiness flags, which allowed the vehicle to pass inspection. Following this advice, the owner had the readiness check reset, resolving the issue without any cost.

Battery hasn't been disconnected recently. I did some minor exhaust work about a month ago. What did you end up doing to fix yours?

That might be it. I tried several drive cycles, but nothing worked. Ultimately, a workshop reset the readiness flags, and it passed the vehicle inspection. It's a known issue.

Thanks for the tip! It turned out to be exactly as you said. The readiness check needed to be reset. The inspection passed, and it cost me nothing. Appreciate the help!

I had a similar issue with my Scenic. The readiness check kept failing. Have you recently disconnected the battery or had any work done on the exhaust system?
