Thanks for the tip! You mean the actual rollover sensor control unit? Where is that typically located? And what exactly was wrong with yours on the Saab? Trying to narrow down possibilities before throwing parts at it.

Yep, the rollover sensor control unit. On my Saab it was under the driver's seat. Turns out the unit was faulty, not the sensor itself. Honestly, I'd suggest getting it checked by a decent workshop. With safety systems, it's really not worth messing around.

Okay, thanks a lot for your insight! Sounds like a plan. I'll book it in with a specialist. After diagnostics, it turns out that the affected control unit was indeed defective. Cost me around 1000€ to replace, but at least it's sorted now. Thanks again!

Sounds familiar! I had a similar problem with my old Saab 9-3. Same symptoms - airbag light and error code related to the crash detection system. Did you check the control unit itself? That might be the culprit.
