Renault Spider sound system failure

I had a similar issue in my Spider No audio, error codes Before you tear the dash apart, does it make any static noise And have you tried messing with the dashboard controls volume, balance, fader just in case something's stuck

No static at all, completely silent I've fiddled with all the dashboard controls, but no luck Everything was working fine one day, then just completely dead the next Do you think it is the display defective

Sounds grim That's exactly how mine went Started out of the blue and never came back to life The error memory is very likely to point to a defective display Eventually took mine to a workshop I wouldn't advise to fix it yourself It's a pain to get to, and you'll probably end up making things worse

Right, I suspected as much Thanks for confirming I'll book it in at a local specialist They quoted me 725€ for the replacement, so fingers crossed that sorts it Cheers for the advice
