Renault Wind electrical issues BUS system

I'm experiencing perplexing electrical issues with my 2010 Renault Wind, gasoline engine, at 191557 km. Sporadically, I'm getting error messages while driving, or various error lamps illuminate seemingly at random. Furthermore, several systems, primarily audio and navigation, are failing intermittently. Sometimes control units temporarily shut down or become unresponsive. I've scanned the error memory and it shows a defective cable connection to the BUS system. Has anyone encountered similar problems?

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I have a Wind as well and had similar gremlins. Random errors, radio cutting out, the whole shebang. Did you check the connections to the ECU (Engine Control Unit)?

Thanks for the reply. You mentioned checking the ECU connections. Could you elaborate on which specific connections I should be inspecting? Also, were your error codes related to the BUS system as well?

Yep, definitely BUS system related. Honestly, I didn't fiddle with it myself. Too many wires! I took mine to a workshop. They diagnosed a faulty connection and sorted it. Best bet is to get it looked at by someone who knows their stuff.

Thanks for confirming. I suspected it was a bit beyond my scope. I appreciate the advice. I booked an appointment at a workshop; they located the defective cable connection to the BUS system. Repair cost was 155€. Everything is running smoothly again now.
