Renault Wind fuel flap issue
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Renault Wind owner is experiencing issues with the fuel flap release, which isn't working and is causing an error. The problem might be related to a defective linkage, as suggested by another owner who faced a similar issue. Checking for a cable release in the trunk could be a temporary solution, but a visit to a workshop may be necessary for a permanent fix.

Thanks for the tip! Yes, the key fob seems to work fine for the doors. Where exactly is this cable release you're talking about? I haven't had a look yet, I'm still fuming from the fact I can't get fuel!

Okay, if the key fob is fine, then it might be something else. The cable release should be in the trunk, usually behind a panel. Honestly, after fiddling with it for ages, I ended up taking it to a workshop. Turned out to be a defective linkage, and it cost me around 210€.

Thanks for sharing your experience! Sounds like I'm heading to the shop then. Really appreciate the help; at least I know what to expect now.

Ugh, sounds familiar! I have a Wind as well, and I had a similar problem last year. Is your key fob working alright? Mine was acting up around the same time. Have you tried the cable release, if your car has one?
