Renault Wind fuel pressure issue

My 2011 Renault Wind (gasoline engine) has a check engine light, stalls at idle, and reduced power. Mileage is 214932 km. I suspect a defective fuel pressure regulator, possibly from an error after I changed the fuel filter. Anyone seen this?

Sounds familiar! I had similar symptoms with my old Opel Astra after replacing the fuel filter. Engine misfire, intermittent pressure drop... Could it be related to the pressure sensor?

Interesting. You also suspect the fuel pressure regulator then? Did it also begin immediately after a fuel filter change? Any particular error codes?

Yeah, the issues started right after the filter change, very similar to what you're describing. I didn't have the equipment to properly diagnose it, so I took it to a workshop. They confirmed it was a pressure issue within the fuel system.

Turns out a faulty fuel pressure regulator was indeed the culprit, causing the issues. Replaced it for 45€ and the car runs smoothly now. Your experience gave me the confidence to pursue this direction!
