Interesting. You also suspect the fuel pressure regulator then? Did it also begin immediately after a fuel filter change? Any particular error codes?

Yeah, the issues started right after the filter change, very similar to what you're describing. I didn't have the equipment to properly diagnose it, so I took it to a workshop. They confirmed it was a pressure issue within the fuel system.

Turns out a faulty fuel pressure regulator was indeed the culprit, causing the issues. Replaced it for 45€ and the car runs smoothly now. Your experience gave me the confidence to pursue this direction!

Sounds familiar! I had similar symptoms with my old Opel Astra after replacing the fuel filter. Engine misfire, intermittent pressure drop... Could it be related to the pressure sensor?
