Renault Wind fuel pump issue

My 2011 Renault Wind (gasoline engine) is playing up! It's got 128k km on the clock. Keeps conking out - won't always start, stalls at idle, engine light's on, runs rough, and feels like it's guzzling more fuel than usual. Error memory says fuel pump, but could it be something simple like a dodgy connection?

Sounds familiar! I've got a Wind too. Had similar issues a while back. Did you check the fuel pump relay? Sometimes those things can cause all sorts of havoc before the actual pump goes kaput. It's like a fuse box for the fuel pump, if that makes sense?

Fuel pump relay, eh? Whereabouts is that located? Is it easy to get to? I'm pretty handy, but I'm no mechanic!

It's usually in the engine bay fuse box. Check your owner's manual for the exact location - might be different depending on the year. Honestly, even if you find it, testing it properly is a pain. Unless you're confident with a multimeter, I'd say get it checked by a workshop. Could save you a lot of hassle.

Cheers for the advice! You were spot on about the connections. Took it to a local garage, they checked the cable and plug, and a loose connection was indeed the culprit! 95€, job done. Happy days!
