Renault Wind massage seat failure
Summary of the thread
The massage function on a 2010 Renault Wind driver's seat has stopped working, with the switch unresponsive and an error stored in the diagnostic tool's memory. A suspected cause is a defective cable or plug connection, possibly within the seat motor wiring loom. A suggested solution is to check and wiggle the wiring under the seat, and if the issue persists, to have a professional run diagnostics to confirm and address the problem.

Thanks for the quick reply. When you had the issue, did you also find any errors in the ECU memory? I'm trying to figure out if the error code is a direct result of the disconnection or a symptom of a larger problem.

Yep, exactly the same - error code was there. I'd say book it into a workshop to get them to run diagnostics - sounds like the same gremlin!

Appreciate the confirmation! I'll take your advice and get it checked by a professional. I was quoted 95€ for the repair, so I hope it does not cost me a fortune.

Strange, I've seen that massage setting fail before on the Wind. Check the seat motor wiring loom under the seat itself. Give it a wiggle and see if it springs back to life.
