Summary of the thread
A 2010 Renault Wind is experiencing rough idling, and a diagnostic scan revealed an engine mount error. The issue might be related to a cable or plug problem with the mount itself. It is suggested to have the vehicle checked by a workshop to prevent further damage, as similar symptoms have been resolved through professional repair.

Thanks for the reply! The error was pretty vague, just 'engine mount defective' as you said. Did you also notice any unusual vibrations with yours? I'm trying to figure out how urgent this is.

Yeah, vibrations were definitely there, especially at lower RPMs. Honestly, I wouldn't drive it too much like that. It could cause further damage. Best bet is to get it checked out by a workshop. I ended up paying around 95€ for the repair.

Okay, thanks for confirming. I'll get it booked in at a workshop then. Sounds like a failed mount and the cable issue is the likely culprit. Good to know what to expect cost-wise too.

Hey, I have a Wind too. Sounds familiar. I had similar symptoms a while back, rough idling and an engine mount error. Was it a specific mount, like the transmission mount, or just a general 'engine mount defective' message?
