So, it really could be just a dodgy connection? Where exactly on your Peugeot did you find the bad connection? I'm no mechanic, but if I knew where to look, I could maybe give it a shot before taking it in...

Yeah, it's worth a shot to check before throwing money at it. On the Peugeot, it was a connector near the oil cooler. But honestly, without proper tools and knowledge, you might be better off having a workshop take a peek. Could save you more headaches in the long run.

Alright, you've convinced me. I'll get it to the workshop. I suspected a broken wire or defective plug connection, and the mechanic confirmed this, and that it was also the radiator oil pressure. The final repair bill came to 95€. Thank you so much for your help!

Sounds rough. I had similar symptoms on my old Peugeot 207 a few years back. Transmission was acting up, lights all over the dash like Christmas, and it turned out to be a bad sensor connection. Did you check all the connectors around the radiator and transmission?
