Renault Wind Transmission Issues

My 2012 Renault Wind with a gasoline engine is giving me fits. The radiator oil pressure seems defective, and the transmission indicator light is on. The check engine light is also on. The automatic transmission has gone into emergency mode, shifts are unclean and slipping, and I'm hearing awful grinding noises when it tries to shift. The error memory has stored an error. Could this be a defective cable or plug connection? Has anyone encountered this before?

Sounds rough. I had similar symptoms on my old Peugeot 207 a few years back. Transmission was acting up, lights all over the dash like Christmas, and it turned out to be a bad sensor connection. Did you check all the connectors around the radiator and transmission?

So, it really could be just a dodgy connection? Where exactly on your Peugeot did you find the bad connection? I'm no mechanic, but if I knew where to look, I could maybe give it a shot before taking it in...

Yeah, it's worth a shot to check before throwing money at it. On the Peugeot, it was a connector near the oil cooler. But honestly, without proper tools and knowledge, you might be better off having a workshop take a peek. Could save you more headaches in the long run.

Alright, you've convinced me. I'll get it to the workshop. I suspected a broken wire or defective plug connection, and the mechanic confirmed this, and that it was also the radiator oil pressure. The final repair bill came to 95€. Thank you so much for your help!
