Is the bulb socket prone to visible corrosion, or is a detailed inspection needed? When manipulating the wiring, should the engine be running to assess electrical fluctuations?

You can usually see corrosion in the socket – look for greenish or whitish buildup. No special tools needed yet. When wiggling wires, ignition ON, engine OFF is safer. But with an error code, it might be a deeper electrical issue. A workshop visit might be worthwhile.

I consulted a workshop based on your advice. They found a defective cable connection, costing 95€. Thanks for the help!

Sounds frustrating! My old Opel Corsa had blinker issues. Did you check the bulb socket for corrosion? Sometimes that's the cause. Also, try wiggling the wires near the lamp while the signal is on to see if it flickers.
