Renault Zoe Active Hood Fault

My 2023 Renault Zoe (electric engine) is showing an 'Active hood fault' message on the dash. The airbag light is also on. I pulled the codes, and it indicates the spring actuators have been triggered. Mileage is at 219578 km. Suspect acceleration sensor. Anyone seen this before?

I had a similar issue with my Zoe. Same 'Active hood fault' message and airbag light. Did the front of your car take any kind of impact? Even a minor one can trigger it.

No impact that I'm aware of, at least not while I've owned it. The sensors are faulty?

Well, it could be a faulty sensor, or maybe a loose connection somewhere. I'd suggest getting it checked out by a workshop. That's what I did, and they sorted it quickly.

Thanks for the advice! It was the acceleration sensor, as suspected. Cost 315€ to replace. Sorted now.
