Hello everyone, I have a problem with my 2012 X3 BMW Diesel, which has already run over 154,124 km. For some time now, the electric seat adjustment has not been working properly and I am also getting an error message. Surprisingly, the last time I went to the mechanic, the guy cost me a lot of money, so I'm a bit worried now. Have any of you ever had a similar problem and can you share your experience of the costs incurred at the garage for something like this? Thanks in advance!

Exactly, comfort is super important, I've got another long journey coming up soon, so I'd like to have that fixed again. I'll have a look around at various garages and compare prices. Hi, I understand your problem. A similar thing happened to me, only with my 2015 BMW X1. The electric seat adjustment strangely gave up the ghost. Imagine it was nothing serious. A simple fault in the control system. Don't worry, it's nothing serious and should be fairly easy to fix. On my next visit to the workshop, they easily rectified the fault and everything is running smoothly again.

But I have to say that since the repair was carried out, there have been no further problems. The electric seat adjustment works perfectly again and the problem has not recurred.
