Ridgeline Bluetooth Pairing Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2012 Honda Ridgeline owner is experiencing issues with Bluetooth pairing, as their smartphone cannot connect to the vehicle's system. The problem might be due to an incorrect pairing or a software glitch in the Bluetooth system. A suggested solution is to take the vehicle to a shop for a potential software fix, which resolved a similar issue for another owner.

Yeah, I've tried deleting the pairing and re-pairing a few times. No luck. The system doesn't even see the phone. Is this the same thing that happened to you?

Yep, sounds identical. I spent ages messing about with it. In the end I took it to a shop because I also thought about steering problems. They suspected a glitch in the software that controls the Bluetooth. Cost me about 45€ to get it sorted. Might be worth a shot to save yourself the headache.

Thanks for the tip! I appreciate it. I'll bring it to the shop as well. Hopefully the problem can be resolved quickly.

I had a similar issue with my Ridgeline - not sure what year mine is. Does the system recognize your phone at all, or is it just a complete no-go? Have you tried deleting the existing pairing and starting from scratch?
