Ridgeline rough idle and stalling

My 2005 Honda Ridgeline (gasoline engine) is acting up. 116880 km on the clock. Hard starts, worse fuel consumption, and feels like it's lost power. Rough idle, sometimes stalls. Could a dirty injection nozzle be the problem?

Summary of the thread

A 2005 Honda Ridgeline is experiencing hard starts, rough idle, stalling, and decreased fuel efficiency, potentially due to a dirty or defective fuel injection nozzle. While using a fuel injector cleaner might help if the issue is minor, the symptoms suggest more serious clogging. A workshop visit is recommended to inspect and possibly replace the injection nozzles to resolve the problem.

Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Sounds familiar. I had similar symptoms with my Ridgeline. Have you checked for any error codes? It could be a clogging issue affecting the fuel injection.

No error codes yet. I was thinking of trying some fuel injector cleaner, but I'm not sure if that's enough. What did you do to resolve the issue?

Fuel injector cleaner might help if it's just minor. But based on your symptoms, especially the stalling, it could be more serious clogging. I ended up taking mine to a workshop. They confirmed it was a defective nozzle.

Thanks for the heads-up! I'll take it to a trusted workshop and ask them to check the injection nozzles. They estimated the repair at 515€. Hopefully that fixes it.
