Ridgeline Speedometer Warning Light Oil Pressure Lamp
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Honda Ridgeline owner experienced issues with the speedometer warning light and flickering oil pressure lamp. The core problem was identified as a severely overdue oil change, leading to a clogged oil filter and low oil pressure. The suggested solution was to change the oil and filter, which resolved the warning lights and prevented potential engine damage.

Oil level's fine, and I did the oil change... uh... maybe a little longer ago than I should have. Could a dirty oil filter really cause all this drama? Or am I looking at something worse?

Yeah, a seriously overdue oil change can cause that. The filter gets clogged, the oil can't flow properly, and the pressure drops. That light's not lying. Time for the workshop before you do serious engine damage.

You were spot on. Bit embarrassing, but it was just a severely overdue oil change. New filter and oil, and the lights are gone. Cost me 165€.

Sounds rough. Have you checked the oil level? When was the last time you changed the oil and filter? Could be as simple as needing fresh oil, but low oil pressure is never a good sign.
