Ridgeline transfer case limp mode
Summary of the thread
A 2020 Honda Ridgeline is experiencing transfer case limp mode, causing gearbox slipping and unclean shifting. The issue may be linked to faults in the ABS system or possibly the torque converter. Yeah, limp mode is a pain. I will have to pull the codes to see whats up. You mention having a similar issue. Was it also the transfer case? And what did it end up being? Was the limp home active?

Yeah, the limp home was active and it was similar behaviour. Honestly, I never figured it out. I just took it to the shop and let them deal with it. Best of luck!

Thanks, I will bring it to the workshop, and see what they say. I wanted to get some insight before going.

Woah, that sucks man. I had a similar problem with my Ridgeline. Limp mode is the worst. Did you pull any fault codes? Maybe it's something with the gear selector?
