Rifter Fault Memory Lock Active Message

I have a 2022 Peugeot Rifter, electric engine, with 163284 km on the clock. I'm getting a fault memory lock active message. The only symptom I've noticed is that an error is stored in the error memory. Could this be a serious problem? Any ideas what I should check?

I had something similar happen with my Rifter. Do you have any idea what might have caused a voltage drop? Things like leaving the lights on, or a faulty battery, could trigger that kind of error. Have you tried clearing the error codes to see if it comes back?

Thanks for the reply. I haven't left the lights on, as far as I know. The battery seems okay, the car starts without any issues. When you had this, did the error come back immediately after clearing it, or did it take some time?

For me, the error kept returning after clearing it. It turned out to be a slightly more complex issue related to undervoltage. I'd suggest you have it checked out at a workshop; they can run proper ECU diagnostics. It’s car electronics, so guessing isn't wise.

Okay, thanks for the advice. I took it to a workshop, and you were right, it was due to undervoltage in the vehicle. The bill came to 240€, which seems reasonable. They fixed the ECU fault, so all good now.
