Rifter low tire pressure ABS and steering issues

I have a 2021 Peugeot Rifter, electric engine, with almost 100k kilometers on the clock (97070 km to be precise). I'm getting a low tire pressure warning. Alongside the warning, the ABS lamp lights up intermittently. The steering wheel vibrates, and the steering feels heavy, like the power steering is failing. I've checked the tire pressure with my tire gauge and one tire keeps losing air. Any ideas?

Sounds like a punctured tire to me. Is the tire losing air quickly? Have you checked for any obvious signs of damage, like a nail or screw? Increased effort on steering is a classic symptom of a flat tire. Which tire is losing pressure?

It's losing air, but not super fast. No visible damage, so perhaps a slow air leak somewhere? You mentioned the increased steering effort is a symptom of a flat. Does that include also the ABS light coming on?

A slow leak could be the valve in tire defective. The ABS light sometimes illuminates with pressure issues. The Rifter's sensors can be quite sensitive. Given the symptoms, I'd recommend getting it checked out at a workshop. Driving with low tire pressure and a possibly failing power steering is dangerous.

Thanks for the input. Turns out the valve was defective indeed. Repair cost 280€ including the replacement valve and labor. All good now.
