RNessa Overheating Electric Fan Issue

My 2000 Nissan RNessa with a gasoline engine is overheating. It has 69775 km on it. The electric fan seems impaired. Could a defective cable or plug connection be the problem?

Overheating in the RNessa isn't uncommon. Have you checked the coolant level? Also, examine the radiator fan itself. Does the electric motor show any signs of damage? A faulty fan clutch could also be the cause.

The coolant level is fine. How can I tell if the electric motor is working, or if the problem is the cable or plug? What steps can I take to find the fault?

Since the coolant level is good, the electric motor or its connection is likely the issue. Without special tools, it's hard to say for sure. I'd suggest seeing a qualified technician for a full check. A bad electric fan will cause overheating and needs to work right. Repair should be about 95€.

Thanks for the advice. I'll take it to a shop for diagnosis and repair. I think the electric fan is the reason for the overheating.
