Rogue Hybrid Ignition Interrupted

Alright, I'm pulling my hair out here. My 2019 Nissan Rogue Hybrid is throwing me for a loop. Got almost 250k km on the clock. The error memory keeps logging 'Terminal 15 ignition positive interrupted' and now the damn thing won't even start. I'm guessing it's a power supply issue, maybe a break in the wiring harness somewhere? I've checked the fuse box, but I'm not really sure what I'm looking for, or how to check for a break in the circuit. Any ideas where to start?

Sounds frustrating! I had a similar problem with my 2016 Audi A4. Same symptoms: car wouldn't start, and some weird electrical fault code kept popping up. Have you checked the cable and plug connections for corrosion or damage? That was the culprit for me. A corroded connector was causing an intermittent short.

Interesting. Where exactly on your Audi was the corroded connector located? Was it somewhere obvious, or did you have to dig around to find it? Any specific area of the wiring harness I should be focusing on in my Rogue?

On the Audi, it was near the starter motor. Not super obvious, but accessible once I removed some of the undercarriage shielding. Honestly, with the Rogue being a hybrid, there are so many potential points of failure in the wiring. I'd suggest getting it to a workshop before you start tearing everything apart. You could end up causing more damage than good.

You were spot on! Took it to the shop, and it turned out to be a defective plug connection, just like you suggested. Cost me 95€ to get it sorted. Thanks for the advice, saved me a ton of time and stress!
