Roox transport mode issue
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Nissan Roox is experiencing issues with being in 'transport mode,' leading to a non-functional navigation system and general electrical problems. Transport mode is typically used for shipping and should have been deactivated by the dealer. The engine starts, indicating the immobilizer is likely not the issue. It is recommended to visit a professional workshop to deactivate transport mode and address any potential configuration issues.

Yeah, the engine starts fine. Everything seems normal besides the electrical bits and the nav system being totally unresponsive. So, the engine starting rules out immobilizer problems?

Not entirely, but it does suggest the immobilizer is at least partially functional. Transport mode affects various systems, and a dealer tool is usually required to fully deactivate it. Due to the electrical malfunctions, and the inactive nav system, I would strongly advise you visit a professional workshop. You are likely facing a minor configuration issue, but there might be other underlying issues.

Thanks! I was hoping to avoid the shop, but it sounds like they're the only ones who can sort it. I'll book it in and hopefully, it's a quick fix. Cheers for the advice!

I've seen this before on the Roox. Transport mode usually means it's locked down for shipping, but it should have been deactivated by the dealer. Does the engine start? If it does, it could be a car configuration issue, or something to do with the immobilizer.
