Finally got back from the shop today after getting the full repair done. Ended up paying 220 Euro total, more than you did but they found an additional issue with the washer fluid reservoir seal that needed replacement. The mechanic showed me the corroded electrical connections that were causing the malfunction in both systems. Shop did a thorough job testing everything. The Xenon headlight cleaning system now works perfectly, and they even cleaned all the nozzles while they were at it. Turns out the previous owner never properly maintained these systems, which led to the corrosion build-up. Really glad I got this fixed before winter. The cost was worth it for the peace of mind, especially since I do a lot of night driving. No more issues with the washer systems or headlight cleaning function. Thanks again for helping me avoid getting overcharged for unnecessary repairs.
