RX Hybrid Fuel Consumption Issue

My 2020 Lexus RX hybrid is guzzling fuel. The check engine light is on, and there's a hissing sound when I accelerate. It's done 109457 km, I'm suspecting an air intake leak somewhere. I've visually checked around the throttle body but can't see anything obvious. Any ideas?

Whoa, that sounds familiar! I have a Lexus RX too, and I had almost the same symptoms a while back. Higher fuel consumption and a check engine light were the first signs for me. Did you check the vacuum hose going into the intake manifold? That's where my leak was.

Yep, exactly that hose! The hissing was definitely there, especially noticeable when accelerating. My MPG went way down, something like a 20% decrease. Honestly, I'd suggest getting it checked out by a workshop, it might be a split you can't easily see. Hope this helps!
