S Klasse microphone problems

Anyone else experiencing microphone issues on their S Klasse? My 2023 diesel S Klasse has a hands-free microphone problem. Telephony is impossible. There's an error in the memory. I'm thinking the infotainment is defective. Quoted 815€.

Whoa, that sucks! I had something similar on my S Klasse. Was your speech recognition acting weird beforehand, like not picking up on commands or misinterpreting them? Check your Bluetooth connection too, might be a simple audio system glitch. Is ambient noise getting picked up a lot, affecting sound quality?

Speech recognition has been a bit off lately, now that you mention it. How did you resolve your issue? Was it also the infotainment system, or something else?

Yeah, mine ended up being a faulty infotainment system too. Tried everything, but nothing worked. I'd bite the bullet and get it checked professionally. Error stored in memory sounds serious. A workshop is your best bet unfortunately.
