S Klasse Washer Fluid Light Stays On

My 2013 Mercedes S Klasse diesel with high mileage shows a persistent 'Washer fluid low' light, even though the reservoir is full. The windshield washer system isn't working. Diagnostic scans show an error. Has this happened to anyone else? Could a sensor recalibration work, or is a spray jet issue more likely? There's plenty of fluid, so what's the deal?

I had the same issue on my S Klasse. Did you check the hose? Maybe it's just a blockage.

A blockage? Where exactly did you find it? Was it near the pump or closer to the nozzles? How did you check?

It was a while ago, but I think the shop said the pump had failed. I'd get it checked.

Thanks for the help. It was a simple fix: a bad pump. The 25€ replacement fixed everything. The 'Washer fluid low' light is off, and the washer works great. I appreciate the advice to see a professional.
