S40 cruise control failure

Hey! I had a similar issue with my S40. Was driving me nuts! Have you checked the steering wheel controls? Sometimes those can get wonky and cause problems with the cruise control system. Just a thought!

Yeah, mine was pretty constant once it started. I tried fiddling with the buttons and resetting things, but no luck. Eventually, I took it to a workshop. They said something about a defective cable or plug connection. Honestly, car electronics baffle me! Best to get it looked at, I reckon.

Appreciate the insight! I'll take it to a shop then. My diagnostics pointed to a cable or plug issue too, so that confirms it. The repair cost should be around 95€. Thanks!
