S60 charge air temperature sensor issue

My 2016 Volvo S60 hybrid has a check engine light and reduced power. There's also a loud hissing sound when I accelerate. The OBD reader shows an error related to the charge air temperature sensor. I think it might be the cable or plug. Has anyone else had this?

I had a similar experience with my S60. Check the sensor's wiring harness for damage or corrosion. Also, try cleaning the sensor connector with electrical contact cleaner. Was the error intermittent at first, or did it appear suddenly?

The error appeared suddenly. Where is the wiring harness located, and what should I look for? Also, what contact cleaner do you recommend?

The wiring harness runs along the intake, towards the front of the engine. Look for breaks, frays, or loose connections. Given the symptoms and sudden onset, it might be worth having a workshop take a look. It could save time and prevent further issues.

Following your advice, I had a workshop inspect the charge air temperature sensor. It was a defective connector. The repair, including the replacement of the connector, was 95€.
