S60 Hybrid AUC Sensor Fault

I have an S60, though not a hybrid. I had similar symptoms, and it turned out to be the air quality sensor. Have you checked the cable or plug connections? That's where my problem was.

Where is the AUC sensor located exactly? I want to double-check the connections before I start replacing parts.

It's part of the HVAC system, near the air intake. Honestly, if you're not comfortable digging around, it might be best to take it to a workshop. A defective cable or plug connection is the likely cause, but can be difficult to isolate. You could try cleaning the contacts, but no guarantees.
