That's interesting. I haven't noticed any other electrical issues with the doors, but I will definitely inspect the wiring harness more closely. Where exactly was the corroded connector located in your BMW?

On the BMW, it was inside the door, where the wiring harness connects to the mirror itself. You had to remove the door card to get to it. Given that you have errors stored, and both mirrors are out, it could be a common connector or even the control module itself. Probably best to get it checked at a workshop.

I checked the wiring and couldn't find anything obvious. I took it to the workshop, and they confirmed it was a faulty connection, as suspected. The repair cost was 95€. Now the mirror heating works as expected. I appreciate your help.

I had something similar happen with my old BMW 3 series. The mirror heating went out on one side, and it turned out to be a corroded connector in the door. Does your Volvo have any issues with the door wiring harness? Sometimes water can get in there and cause problems.
