S60 rear sun blind failure

I've got an S60 too, and I had a similar issue a while back with the retractable shade that covers the rear window to block sunlight. Did it make any weird noises before it stopped?

Exactly, the retractable shade. No weird noises, it just stopped suddenly. Was it definitely the motor in your case? What did you do?

Yeah, it was the motor. The workshop confirmed it. I'd recommend getting it checked out professionally. Trying to fix it myself could have made things worse. They said some models need recalibration afterward.
