S660 Antenna Malfunction
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Honda S660 owner is experiencing issues with the bumper antenna, leading to errors, malfunctioning locks, and the need to start the engine with the key in the ignition. The problem may be due to a bad cable or plug, as suggested by another S660 owner who had similar symptoms, including reduced radio signal and key fob range. The recommended solution is to have the antenna connections inspected by a qualified technician, which resolved the issue for another owner at a cost of 95€.

Yeah, the radio signal seems weaker, and the key fob's range is noticeably reduced. Did you have the same error codes and starting issues?

Yes, those were exactly my symptoms. Given the reduced range and error codes, I highly suggest having the antenna connections inspected by a qualified technician. It seems like a visit to the workshop is unavoidable.

Thanks for confirming. I'll book an inspection. For others with similar issues, the repair was 95€, and it was the cable connection.

Interesting. I also drive an S660, and experienced something similar. Are you experiencing any radio signal degradation? Does it seem like the range of your key fob has diminished?
