S660 rough running IAT sensor issue
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Honda S660 with a gasoline engine is experiencing a check engine light and sluggish performance, with an OBD2 scanner indicating an issue with the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor. A faulty IAT sensor can cause both the check engine light and performance issues, as it affects the engine's air-fuel mixture. A similar case was resolved by replacing the sensor, which restored normal engine function. The suggested solution is to have the sensor checked and potentially replaced by a trusted workshop.

Interesting! When you say 'way off,' what readings are we talking about? And did replacing the sensor fix the problem?

The temperature reading was stuck at a constant value, even when the engine was cold. Replacing the sensor completely solved it. Given your symptoms and the error code, the IAT sensor is likely the cause. I'd suggest a trusted workshop for a diagnostic, just to be safe.

Thanks for sharing! Sounds like our issues are connected. Based on your advice, I took my S660 to a workshop. Turns out the faulty intake air temperature sensor was indeed the problem! The repair cost 155€. Thanks again for your help!

I have an S660 and had something similar. Reduced power, rough running, the works. Error codes also pointed to the intake air temperature sensor. Did you check the sensor's temperature readings with your scanner? Were they plausible, or way off?
