S80 diesel whistling noise and power loss

Hi, I have a perplexing issue concerning my 2016 Volvo S80 diesel with 62346 km. The check engine light is on, and the engine power is noticeably reduced. I've also observed a distinct whistling noise, coupled with a loud hissing sound during acceleration. Diagnostic examination logged an error pertaining to the charge air temperature sensor. Preliminary investigation suggests a potential defect in the cable or plug connection of the component. Has anyone encountered similar symptoms?

I have a Volvo S80 as well and I had very similar symptoms a while back. Check engine light, reduced power and that annoying whistling sound. It ended up being related to the airflow sensor. I am not sure if it's the same issue, but might be worth checking.
