S80 Headlight Windshield Washers Failing

Hi, I'm having a strange issue with my 2009 Volvo S80 diesel. The headlight cleaning system seems to have stopped working, and I've also noticed the windshield washer isn't spraying anymore. I've checked the fuses, but they seem fine. Could this be a defective cable connection of the pump or relay?

I had something similar happen with my S80. The headlight washers quit, and then the windshield sprayers went silent. I'd check for clogs, but a faulty pump is also possible. Have you noticed any leaks?

No visible leaks, but where exactly should I be looking for clogs? And what about the electrical side of things? Is there a common relay issue with the S80 headlight washer system that might knock out the windshield sprayers too?

I didn't find any clogs when mine went, and honestly, messing with the wiring on these things can be a nightmare. If you're not seeing any leaks, my advice? Bite the bullet and get it checked by a workshop. Could save you a lot of frustration. That's what I did!

Thanks for the advice! Took it to a workshop, and you were right – turned out to be a defective cable connection of pump or relay. Cost me 165€ to get it sorted. At least everything is working again.
